It was a delight to sit on the patio watching and listening to the crashing waves! Despite a slightly obstructed view, this condo met our basic needs. Being at Maalaea Harbor was centrally located, making it easy to get around the island.

The rental property was as advertised. It was in a great location, with easy access to anywhere on Maui. The furniture and appliances were well maintained and we had a real assortment of cutlery, other cooking utensils and spices, which was a nice surprise. In comparison to friends who stayed in the same block, they were not as well supplied with all the necessities, as we were. It was also nice to have beach chairs and towels provided by the rental company. The only issue we had was the sofa bed which was not very comfortable. The rental company was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and were very thorough on the instructions on what to expect when we arrived. Overall I would recommend this property to others.

This is certainly one of the nicest rental condos I have stayed in. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops have all been recently updated, along with the flooring and furnishings. The kitchen is probably the best stocked (appliances, utensils and gadgets) I have ever seen. All in all a very nice place to stay.
There are a few items that were not to my liking. First and foremost, the photo shown is not at all what you actually see when sitting on the lanai. There is the pool wall and pool utility room roof directly in front of you. I would clasify it as an eye sore. If you can look beyond that, there is a view of the water and Haleakala as well as the occasional whale spout. Second, as one previous review states, the front door area is very poorly lit and impossible to see the digit on the lock after dark. PUT A MOTION ACTIVATED LIGHT IN - THEY'RE CHEAP! Next, there is a small appliance in the bedroom called an ArcticKing. It is a miniature evaporative cooler. There are two huge problems here. Evaporative coolers only work when the humidity is below 35%. Worst of all, it works with a small reservoir of water. Unless it is cleaned almost daily, black mold grows here and if used, blows those spores out into the room for you to breathe while sleeping. It is a health hazard - THROW IT AWAY!!
Lastly, the welcome note said there is a starting supply of coffee. There was no coffee. Also, the coffee pot auto timer doesn't work and it is equiped with a "CONE" filter system. They only supply basket paper filters so you can't make a half of a pot of coffee without the grounds spilling over the edge and into the pot. YUK!! Buy a new coffee pot...

This property was amazing! Lovely location right on the ocean and so very quiet. Loved the walkability to Ma'alaea Harbor.

I was very impressed with the condo being fully stocked with everything we needed.
Front entrance needs better lighting. Very hard to enter code on the door in the dark.
