We have stayed at this condo several times. Immaculately clean and well equipped. Air conditioning in every room. Love sitting on the balcony for morning coffee or dinner -watching the waves and turtles. 15 minutes to Kahalui, Lahaina or Kihei. One of the best pizza places a block away. Beautiful beach down the street where you can walk for miles. Management of building makes sure it is cleaned every day including bbqs. We will be booking for next year again.

This condo was clean, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Loved the scenic view, amenities and the people we encountered in the area. There was plenty to do at the site and was close to everything else. We were able to entertain a large group who traveled with us...very spacious. Would definitely go back.

My family of five had a wonderful time at this rental. Such an amazing view, close to great beaches, and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. The rental was super clean, well stocked, and the staff was great with answering any questions that came up. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect spot!

This condo located in Maalea Bay is nicely decorated and very well equipped. We love the location as it is so central on the island. We enjoy sitting on the lanai watching the waves as well as all the turtles. The management company is very quick to respond to any concerns. The on site maintenance people keep everything so clean and well kept. We keep coming back year after year. There’s always something new to explore in Maui.

We have stayed in the Hawaiian islands for over 40 years we have a pretty good idea of what accommodations should look like and what a cleaned unit should look like. The Bedding in one bedroom had to be changed and the kitchen cubards required some extra cleaning due to food residue etc.The drawers in the bathroom had hair in them. Also the main bathroom bath tub requires a rubber mat in it the slipping hazard is extreme. Other than that things are.fine.

We loved the location and the condo. However, the kitchen was infested with crock roaches. The management company was very responsive and came the same day we called with poison. However, we spent the rest of our vacation vacuuming up dead and dying roaches.

We have stayed at this condo multiple times due to cleanliness, location, scenery, quiet and central on Maui. Resident manager and his crew can be seen daily keeping the building in great shape. BBQs are kept impeccable. We love having dinner in the deck overlooking the bay and watching the turtles. 15 minute drive to Kihei, Kahului or Lahaina. Beautiful and relaxing!

The unit was dirty, dirty, dirty. Called the contact number to complain. Left return call. Spent almost 3k, they gave a 50.00 credit back. Stay at your own risk. Even had to kill a cockroach

We really enjoyed our stay. The best part was the view from the lanai. The bedroom also has the same view. It's a 3rd level condo. The property was wonderful. The kitchen was nice and my family enjoyed that AC was available. It was nice that an umbrella, beach chairs and towels were provided. We also really appreciated the soft sided cooler and used it every day to carry a picnic lunch to the beach. The snorkel sets were nice but the masks let water in and only one has the attachment that connects the mask to the breathing pipe, so you will need to rent your snorkel gear if you want a good snorkeling experience. It was nice that salt and pepper and olive oil were in the kitchen. We could have used a couple extra blankets at night, as the bedspreads are very thin. Confirm your checkout time ahead of time. Our book said 11 am but then we received a message saying the housekeepers were waiting or us at 10 am. Laundry facilities are on the same level at the opposite end of the complex.

We loved our stay at Ma’alaea Kai! It was very reasonably priced and the condo was a nice size for our family of 4. Extremely clean, and the grounds were well taken care of. The homeowners in the condo unit were exceptional and we felt very safe with our little ones running around. It is an excellent location for getting around the island. We could see the turtles right off the property and beach access was very close. Will definitely be coming back to stay there again.

The location of this condo is perfect! It is right on the ocean, great viewing of sunrises, whales and horizons. There is a lovely beach just a 5 minute walk away. The actual unit was the balm! Spacious, clean and complete with everything we needed for a perfect vacation.

We have stayed at this location several times and the experiences have all been fantastic. We love the location because it is quiet and the view of the bay is perfect. We love watching the whales from the Lanai and the turtles that come to feed among the rocks. It is also centrally located so it is easy to get to the north and south beaches and cities. I will definitely be returning in the future.

We are a family composed of middle-agers, college students and teen, and everyone had an excellent time in this space. The sunrise and the mountain-ocean combo view each morning keeps us speechless during our breakfast in the balcony. The common areas of the complex are clean, but there was no sight of the "manager" who we tried looking for during the whole trip (for registration procedures stated in the instructions). We personally loved the location because it is away from the traffic-causing hustle and bustle of the west and south sides of the island. There's only a few food establishments but that hasn't been a problem since we had a car and were out all day till evening. I found the location central and an easy starting point to travel to other parts of the island. The unit is clean and equipped with essential cooking and dining supplies. Please check out all the closets upon arrival because there's a few gears for renter's use such as cooler, floaters (we weren't able to use because we saw them when we were checking the closets before we left). The laundry/drying machines were easy to use ($) and were a big help. The parking space though could use a little widening.

Maalaea Bay Resort is centrally located. Short drive to most areas of the island. The unit is clean and well equipped. Air conditioning is slow to work but cools the unit enough. The breeze in the afternoon cools the unit wonderfully. The parking spaces are small, so if you have anything bigger than a tiny car, the street parking is the way to go. Maalaea Harbor is a 1 minute walk from the unit, so plan to book excursions from that harbor. Overall, is was quiet and relaxing.

Loved the condo! Maalaea is a great location for a Maui vacation. Easy driving to island destinations. Half mile walk to public beach and half mile walk to marina. Marina has aquarium, restaurants (try Tante's), shops, and tour boats. If needed, condo has an a/c unit in all rooms. Enjoyed heated swimming pool.

Great rental. Great view of turtles feeding every day. AC in back bedroom coldest. AC in living room and front bedroom not as cool. Clean and everything that you need is in condo. Parking spaces are tight, might not be able to get everyone out on both sides we you are between two cars. Close food & beach to walk to.

The property was in a great location: a few minutes drive from either Kihei or Lahaina. And a short walk to one end of Sugar beach at Haycraft Park. The condo had beach chairs and umbrellas. The condo also had a good selection of cooking implements and sharp knives in the kitchen. We were able to see turtles (at high tide) and whales out in Ma'alaea Bay. All in all and great stay for two weeks.

Our stay here was perfect! We kept marveling at what a beautiful view we had! Coffee on the lanai every morning, watched whales and turtles every afternoon, it was amazing. We had everything we needed, beach chairs, coolers, towels, umbrella, even sand toys! We were very centrally located, everywhere we went was less than 30 minutes. We will absolutely stay here again!
