Kuleana Resort 418

Enjoyed the pool time, turtle �� watching, great food, friends and hiking. Needs a bigger air conditioner. Supply more coffee filters(2 not enough). I swept the stairs on each level because of the sand, dirt, and leaves that had accumulated over time.

This was our first time in unit 418. We enjoyed our two week stay with an amazing view of the ocean, sunsets and turtle activity. The large pool is wonderful is great for relaxing or swimming laps.
Hokulani and staff extend a warm aloha, are responsive and helpful. The washer and dryer in unit is a real bonus.
Can't wait for our next visit.

Kuleanna Club is the most peaceful place to stay, no hassle and bustle, grounds are beautiful, staff is awesome, views and snorkeling is great, don’t miss this place if you want the relaxing, beautiful vacation you’ve been looking for.

The vacation rental was good. The condo is nice and the area is quiet and in a perfect location. The only minor issues was the sliding glass door did not work very well. Other than that we had a great stay!

This unit has fantastic full views of the ocean, Moloka’i and Lanai and from the side window ocean views and the view of a gorgeous tree. True that the side window does also have a view of solar panels and roof, but that is quickly overshadowed by the beauty of everything else.The kitchen appliances are new and the bed was comfy... a lovely breeze circulates through most of the unit, but the AC in the bedroom was wonderful at night. Another awesome thing about Kuleana is the snorkeling is great! We saw at least 10 sea turtles once snorkeling. The grounds are also lovely.

Very happy, as always, with our stay a Kuleana. This time we had a repair that was needed in the bathroom -- which is rare, as this unit is well-maintained. It was dealt with quickly.

The rental condo was great, but I think they could leave at least 2 rolls of toilet paper and at least 2 rolls of paper towels. We also had to buy coffee filters. I left them there so the next people don’t have to buy them. Also, would be nice to leave salt and pepper. For $400.00 a night, we expected better.

Nice stay. Kuleana well kept. 418 is a nice but somewhat dated in interior. Could use brightening up, new kitchen dishes and better organized pots and pan. Side window brightens room but view of solar panels and wiring next door is not inspiring. Overall just fine.

This small one bedroom condo had a great lanai where you could watch whales. It was conveniently located in a smaller complex which was nice. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfy. Unit was clean but both the cleaning products and the laundry detergent used were ver heavily scented. It was pretty overwhelming if you’re not used to such products.

Our Stay in unit 418 was good. The unit is the best location on the property. The view from the unit is excellent. The only drawback is that is is a 2 floor walkup.
The unit itself although small is acceptable. the furniture is in need of an upgrade as the couch is very uncomfortable. The bath has a whirlpool tub that would literally take over an hour to fill with the current water pressure and the shower rain head is more of a drizzle. It's a high step over the edge of the tub to get in and out of the shower.
Bottom line is stay in the unit for the view.

Unit is nice, a bit smaller than the pictures show. Also, there are solar panels on the roof just outside one of the windows and not shown in the pictures. Best to have pics show realistically what you are coming to. Fan in kitchen/living room could get to work, Beach umbrella broken (expect the management to check these things before our visit). Unit was clean, but the balcony needed to be swept and rinsed off.

Great home base for our Hawaii vacation. Updated and clean unit. Comfortable bed, good kitchen, and washer/dryer came in handy. The view is simply remarkable! We started & needed each day on the patio. No need to turn on a TV with that view. No issues finding parking. Property clean and quiet. Close to grocery stores, shopping, beaches, etc on island. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing vacation. The unit was perfect. We usually stay in a timeshare unit and none of them are as nice as this one.. it is a corner unit with an extra sliding glass door for a better view. This one has a stack-pack washer and dryer and a fully functional kitchen. That’s a huge plus..

This is a great complex for anyone-families, couples. Perfect location with your own private beach. I think it has the best snorkeling on the island and tons of turtles to see. Great pool area too.

I already booked the unit for next year!

Because we purchased this trip for 2020 and then Covid happened, we went this year and they upgraded our condo to oceanfront, We normallt stay in #308 by the pool. We also liked this condo but the 3 flights of stairs isn’t thrilling. We have been staying annually at Kuleans since 2011. Mainly for the location and pool. Keep in mind, sand is an issue in the islands so don’t expect to see much of it in front of this property after storms. It’s a short walk down the path to a beach.

Kuleana is a wonderful resort on Maui and condo 418 exceeded our expectations. The views of the ocean are incredible. We saw whales every day of our 2 week trip in Dec. The condo has lots of natural light, laundry, modern bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. It was nice to have the lounge chair on the balcony and the island in the kitchen - it gave us much more room for food prep. We also liked the proximity to the pool and the small beach. Overall a great stay.
