Description Description
Beachfront condo #410 is a 2 bed/2 bath corner unit in building 10, on the southern edge of the property. Corner units in end buildings like this mean, extra windows with a more expansive ocean view & extra light. In this case it also means an extra-large lanai that faces both west & south. Breakfast on the lanai and enjoy an extra bit of local culture when single & double outriggers launch from the adjacent canoe club for practice paddles and a colorful regatta of local races. Pick up fresh local food to prep in the full kitchen, finish on the gas grills, then dine on the lanai. In winter the whales put on a show for free, but all year round the sunrises & sunsets (also free) will stun you. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. A king bed in the master bedroom, and in the second bedroom 2 twin beds. There is central A/C.

Tile flooring, flat screen TV with complimentary cable, WiFi, local phone. Central AC, ceiling fans, in-unit washer/dryer. The resort itself is a real gem. Nestled into a quiet and safe community, the vibe here is one of low-key local that lets you know you are in an authentic place, not some theme-resort. Centrally located in North Kihei, Kihei Beach Resort is a favorite of return travelers.1 vehicle per unit free parking. From here you can venture forth with low commute times (15-45 minutes) to enjoy most of the awesome adventures and attractions Maui has to offer. Two long & winding roads - one to the summit of Haleakala & the other through the rainforest heading to eastside Hana. These are longer treks to places remote, but places not to be missed if one can help it. On days you want to stay close to base, stroll the (almost empty) 3 mile stretch of white-sand shoreline north to Ma'alaea. The resort's 1.3-acre grounds tempt you to stay and relax by the pool, sunbathe on the beach or claim a lounge chair under a palm tree and read a book. From the grounds & pool you have panoramic, nothing peek-a-boo-about-them coastline views that extend south to the Makena cinder cone, sweep out across the water past Molokini Crater, neighbor islands Kahoolawe & Lanai, then north to Maalaea Bay with its backdrop of stark white windmills marching up the sharp ridges of the West Maui Mountains. During high season (Dec-April) humpback whales (mamas, babies, and guardian males) find shelter in Maalaea Bay; the sight of them breaching is always thrilling. All year round you will savor spectacular sunrises and sunsets by day, and star-studded skies and silvery moonbeams glittering on the Pacific by night. It's fun that Kihei Canoe Club is next door to the resort. Watching the canoes during practices or races is a cool diversion few resorts can offer. On Tuesdays & Thursdays the club offers visitors an opportunity to paddle out with them ($40 donation), so worth it! Across the street is a quaint collection of local treasures: a farmer's market featuring local fruits & veggies, Ululani's Shave Ice Store, Sugar Beach Bake Shop & an ABC convenience store.

You will find yourself there more often than you think, it's one of those spots! And just down the road a bit toward Kihei, you will notice a most charming church painted 'plantation green' with white trim & exuding the Aloha spirit. Keolahou Hawaiian Congregational Church holds services in English & Hawaiian on Sunday mornings, open to all; on Thursday evenings they host 808 Uke Jam, a gathering of ukulele enthusiasts of all different levels who play, sing, learn & share aloha; it is free & open to the public. It is priceless. By the way, this condo is professionally managed by Destination Maui Vacations, an on-island management company with more than 40 years of history on the island. Our offices are located nearby with an easy-to-reach, courteous staff. We love to help & will do our best to ensure you have a wonderful stay on Maui! Free Parking 1 vehicle per unit.

Beautiful Ocean View
We were there for three weeks... I love the location of Kihei Beach condominiums. We have the bakery across the street, open market, ABC store, and the ever popular shaved ice store.

Top notch service
Our family of three adults had a great time! One visitor was in Hawaii for the first time and was completely immersed in the beauty. We all look forward to our next visit.
Destination Maui vacations is a very well run organization!

The BOAT!!
We LOVE this location! Second time staying there!! The boat was a HUGE distraction from the "ocean view" and the noise from dealing with the boat- pumps etc.was very very loud. Hard to sit outside and have conversations. So that was not relaxing for us- until the evening then quite but there was the BOS U in our view of the ocean. NOT that serene ocean view we paid for or came for.
Wondering if would be some compensation for that whole endeavor???
We know you had no control over the circumstances but seems like anyone staying at Kihei Beach should not be charged the full amount for an ocean view/relaxing grounds and our vacation.
We felt like a small recliner and another comfortable chair in the living room would be helpful. Chairs not very comf- couch was great! And the above tenants seem to move their deck chairs alot and could hear them very clearly- usually when we were heading to bed. Maybe same was happening to whoever was below us??? Maybe better patio furniture. Again love this place and your services were great! But THE BOAT sure put a dampper on our expensive vacation- absolutely no beach to even walk on. And as we watched other try to walk on beach- many fell and was not safe.
Apprehending back on any compensation for this BOAT that was not part of our stay!!! Paid top dollar for not a top spot

Nice condo in a great location
Our family of four stayed here the last five nights of our trip. Clean and comfortable unit with great views. Check-in went smoothly. The location is very convenient for day trips. We walked across the street for shave ice and to pick up groceries several times during our stay. The area is less fancy than Wailea but a great value for the money. We would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful Rental, poor management
This rental was beautiful. We did have a rough start, I like other reviewers, was not able to use the access codes to get into the gate as the email had gone to my junk folder and once found it had an incorrect gate code. I attempted to contact the owner multiple times but was not able to get a response until much later in the evening. Luckily, I was able to find an old email that went to my junk folder with a correct code and gain access, otherwise I don't think we would have been able to get into the condo that evening. I was also unaware that we would be responsible for an additional $25.00 charge per day at check in. I did not see this listed anywhere on the listing. I reached out to the owner and received no response. The rental itself is amazing. Beautiful views, everything you could possibly need for your trip, including full shampoo, conditioner and body washes, tons of beach gear, coolers, fully stocked kitchen including zip lock bags, condiments, all the little comforts of home. There are ten foot ceilings throughout and it makes everything feel huge. The beds were the most comfortable of any rental we've been in. Full size washer and dryer. We were in Hawaii for three weeks throughout the islands and this was by far our favorite rental. There is a nice pool as well and you are right by the clubhouse. Outside of difficulty contacting the owner (which could have been a real disaster) and the unannounced additional costs this is an amazing rental.

Amazing Trip
Went for a trip with my family and had an amazing time. The unit itself was in great shape with newer furniture and comfortable beds. The location is great. Having the ABC store across the street was a blessing. Would book this unit over and over again.

We couldn’t have asked for more. The rental was just as described. Beautiful view on quiet sugar beach. More local location and not such a busy tourist spot. Nights were quiet and the sound of the waves put me to sleep every night! The condo was stocked with everything we needed and location was 20 minutes from most the destinations we went. Clean, pest free. Worked great for our family of 4! Can’t wait to come back!

Aloha
This property was a great spot for my son and I to enjoy our vacation. The place itself is a little old school, but the views make up for it all! Listened to the waves all day and night! Delicious malasadas, and shave ice across the street. Kihei canoe club is right beneath the unit and they take out visitors tue & thurs. mornings. Did I mention the views? Peace and tranquility abound in this corner unit

Oceanfront view!
We had a great time! Great location! The place was clean. Oceanfront property. Check in was easy, all information was in the app. Updated bathrooms.
Things to improve on, wipe down the drawers in the bathroom, there was hair in the drawers. And dust the ceiling. The popcorn ceiling collects dust and can look like spiders webs.

Best location in all of Hawaii
This unit is on the 4th floor of my favorite complex, Kihei Beach Resort. It is a corner unit, so you get a bonus view down the beach to the south. This complex is smaller than most, about 50 units so it’s not crowded around the pool or BBQ area. It is as close to the beach as you can get! There is an ABC store, small bakery, Shaved Ice and trinket store right across the street.

Amazing view & location
My sisters & I had a wonderful time in Kihei. This condo was perfect for us. We were able to cook breakfast & dinner at the condo, and spent our days exploring the island or just chilling at the beach. We will definitely be back!

Perfect week In Paradise
Incredible sunsets, great condo for two couples. Beach access was wonderful and easy, with swimming out in the ocean or pool. Condo was very clean with everything we needed in the kitchen. Canoe Club next door was fun to watch them put in and take out boats, bakery and shave ice across street and even an ABC Store. Five star rating! Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean, quiet and as close to the water as you can get without being in the water. Canoe club right next door and famous shave ice across the street. Would stay here again!

A little slice of heaven on Sugar Beach
We had a fantastic time at this property. Everything was clean and well stocked, and the Kihei Beach Resort is a fantastic launching point for your Maui fun. We like the location in North Kihei, as you can quickly access all interesting parts of Maui. The ABC store, bakery, and shaved ice across the street are really nice to have. The beach is quiet and fantastic for sunsets. Would definitely recommend to others.

Fabulous Condo in a wonderful local spot
This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Fabulous views right on the ocean in a very locals area, which we like better as we don't like to stay where all of the tourists stay. A great farmers market, bakery and shaved ice place, and ABC store right across the street. And it was fun to watch the canoe boats racing in the morning. Having a washing machine & dryer was also really helpful and management was great and very informative. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Accommodations!!!!
What can I say....this couldn't have been more perfect! When we vacation, we need as much ocean as possible. This location fit the bill perfectly. We spent every morning on the lanai with coffee and pastries from the bakery across the street. We watched the magnificent whales starting their day in the ocean. We loved seeing the canoe team taking off next door. I think we may have even seen a sea turtle in the surf one morning. We ended every evening with a drink on the lanai watching the stars and listening to the surf. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was just right, the kitchen had what we needed. The resort itself was clean, tidy, and quiet. One issue were some ants in the kitchen, but I notified the front desk and they had it handled that same day and we did not see any more ants. We were not familiar with Kihei so did not know how spread out the island was. We spent a lot of time in Lahaina which was a 30 minute drive away. Despite that, there was plenty available in Kihei and I think we would stay there again rather than in the popular resort area which was more crowded. I would recommend this room to anyone who is like our family and needs the ocean in close proximity. Also, we named the local rooster Charles. So if you stay there next, say Hello to Charles for us!

Overall the property was great. They do need to replace lawn chairs though. Disappointed that there were no tables or chairs on the grounds or around the pool as a result of Covid
